FIRST LEGO League (FLL)

FLL inspires children to solve real-world problems using research, teamwork, and LEGO® robotics. Students develop confidence, critical thinking, and coding skills through hands-on challenges.

Age Groups

Explore (6–10 years): Focus on teamwork, creative solutions, and basic coding using LEGO® Education kits

Challenge (9–16 years): Research a real-world problem, innovate a solution, and build/program a LEGO® SPIKE robot for competitive missions

World Robot Olympiad (WRO)

WRO encourages students worldwide to solve global challenges using autonomous robots. Students showcase creativity, engineering, and collaboration across multiple categories.

  • Senior (14–19 years)

VEX Robotics Competition

A leading global robotics program challenging students to design, build, and compete with robots in dynamic game environments.

Categories & Age Groups

VEX IQ: Elementary and middle school (grades 4–8), plastic-based robots, teamwork and skills challenges

VEX V5: Middle and high school (grades 6–12), metal-based robots, competitive matches and skills challenges

International Robot Olympiad (IRO)

IRO is a global robotics festival allowing students to demonstrate innovation, teamwork, and STEM skills through robot missions and creative challenges.
