Announcing Global VEX Robotics Competition (VRC) Season 2025-26
Brainy n Bright - VEX Competition

Why Choose Brainy n Bright for VEX Robotics Competition?

  1. Largest and fastest growing middle school and high school robotics program globally
  2. Each year, an exciting engineering challenge is presented in the form of a game
  3. This program encourages children to build a future in STEM by taking science-related courses
  4. Instructor led training

About the Competition:

  1. All students are naturally inclined towards science and engineering, they love to question, tinker, experiment and play
  2. VEX competitions foster these skills and capitalize on the motivational effects of competitions and robotics to help all students create an identity as a STEM learner.
  3. VEX competitions are also a great way to expose students to valuable soft skills like communication, collaboration and time-management in a fun and authentic way.
  4. Tournaments are held year-round at the regional, state, and national levels and culminate at the VEX Robotics World Championship each April!
VEX Categories

VEX GO (Elementary Level): High Stakes

Target Age Group: Young students in early elementary school

Objective: VEX GO introduces robotics to young learners through fun, collaborative, and simple challenges. Using colorful and easy-to-handle components, students build and program basic robots. The focus is on foundational STEM skills, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Game Theme: While not competitive at the global level like the other VEX categories, VEX GO activities align with the "High Stakes" theme by introducing simplified versions of the tasks, such as moving objects or simple coding challenges, to encourage learning and excitement.

VEX IQ Challenge (VIQC) - Rapid Relay:

Target Age Group: Elementary to middle school students

Objective: The VEX IQ Challenge provides a more complex robotics experience, where students design, build, and program robots to complete a series of tasks on a field. In the 2025-2026 season, the "Rapid Relay" game involves teams programming their robots to launch balls into targets, pass them between alliance robots, and score points by accurately hitting targets.

Educational Focus: The VIQC emphasizes learning core robotics principles, coding, and strategic thinking. It also fosters teamwork as students collaborate to optimize their robots for the tasks.

Advantages of participating in VEX Competition
✅Learn to become the next generation of innovators and problem solvers
✅Learn critical thinking, project management and teamwork
✅Identify a game strategy and design, create, and code a robot to complete the mission
✅3Test, iterate, and improve their Robot Design
✅Practice and demonstrate their robot in the Robot Game
✅Learn teamwork, problem solving, and scientific discovery

Mode of Training: In-classroom available at the following locations

Lawrence Township: #4, Quakerbridge Village Commons, 4120 Quakerbridge Rd (Landmark: Near Costco Wholesale Market), Lawrence Township, NJ 08648, Phone: 609-666-0006
