Uses of Artificial Intelligence in Education and Medicine
blog

This blog looks at the importance of Artificial Intelligence in our everyday lives. Artificial Intelligence is a field which has been on the rise in the field of technology. As a matter of fact, AI is becoming so integrated in our life that we do not seem to notice it! Common examples include self-driving cars, entertainment sources such as YouTube, Instagram, etc. and even phones. What fascinates me specifically about this field is the capability of machines to work alongside people and facilitate our everyday hassles and work. Since its foundation in academics at 1956, Artificial Intelligence has lead to new ways and approaches of dealing with complex issues in life. Artificial intelligence in education has come up with ways to help teachers and scholars develop different testing methods to measure each child’s intelligence levels. Likewise, in medicine, Artificial intelligence has helped lab technicians and other scientists come up with ways to diagnose people quicker and more efficiently. In short, AI is a very influential in our everyday lives and has helped solve a great deal of complex problems which could not be solved by humans alone. The following paragraphs will look at the changes that came about with the development of AI in the respective fields.

This paragraph looks in depth at how AI changed education over the past years. Artificial intelligence not only brought about improved and enhanced change to testing in schools, but it also lead to innovative class rooms and home as well. AI has made tough mathematical topics like Algebra easy for kids and much more enjoyable through interactive video learning. Furthermore, it has made grading for teachers and professors easy as possible as they no longer have to manually enter grades into their systems.

Furthermore, AI has been a boom in medicine as well. AI has helped come up with advanced imaging to diagnose diseases which were undetectable prior to this technology. Common example include diagnostic imaging which helps detect cancer cells early on before it starts spreading to other parts of the body. Moreover, AI has been able to send help to less-developed countries as well. With the availability of high speed technical imaging, AI has reduced the need for a highly trained radiologists present in low- income areas. Instead, results are submitted through apps to the recipient’s mobile phone. Likewise, AI has also been influential in monitoring patients in critical care units of hospital. AI’s sophisticated system’s can help detect the smallest changes in patient’s health condition and can help reduce the costs that may incur from hospital related negligence. Artificial intelligence has also come up with immunotherapy to help cure or lessen cancer cells. Immunotherapy occurs when the individual’s own body is thought how to identify foreign cells in the body and then attack to destroy it.

To conclude, AI has definitely been a major advantage for people in the years since it’s foundation. Advances in medicine and education with the help of Artificial intelligence has helped people go the extra milestone to build a better future for our next generations.
